During the research, the team also engaged with local medical procurement institutions and learned that primary medical facilities in Serbia have seen a significant surge in demand for cost-effective medical consumables, particularly facing shortages in categories such as post-operative care dressings and disposable surgical kits. Haorun Medical’s product portfolio, which has obtained ISO 13485 certification and CE certification based on the MDR (Medical Device Regulation) framework, is highly aligned with local access standards.

In between visits, the team toured a modern logistics park in Belgrade’s new district, whose supporting cross-border transportation network covers major cities in the Balkans. “We plan to leverage local warehousing resources to shorten the delivery cycle of medical supplies,” a team member revealed, adding that Haorun Medical may establish a regional distribution center in Serbia in the future to serve neighboring countries.
