Haorun Medical Visits Site of Former Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia to Honor Martyrs, Cherish Peace

(Belgrade, Serbia) Recently, the overseas business team of Haorun Medical traveled to Belgrade, Serbia, and paid a special visit to the former site of the Chinese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. They held a commemorative event themed “Honor Martyrs, Cherish Peace”, laying floral tributes to the three martyrs—Shao Yunhuan, Xu Xinghu, and Zhu Ying—who sacrificed their lives in the 1999 NATO bombing.

At the site, team members stood solemnly before the monument inscribed with “Honor Martyrs, Cherish Peace”, reflecting on the past. The black monument, engraved with Chinese and Serbian text recording the shared bond between China and Serbia in times of crisis, was surrounded by fresh flowers and Chinese national flags—symbols of enduring respect across time. “Being here makes the value of peace even more tangible,” the team leader noted. “The peace these martyrs guarded with their lives is the foundation of our mission as medical professionals to protect lives.”

As an enterprise specializing in medical supplies like wound dressings and operating room products, Haorun Medical provides compliant medical goods to over 100 countries globally, prioritizing “life first” in supporting conflict and disaster zones. Following the commemoration, the team engaged with local Serbian medical institutions to explore deeper people-to-people assistance through medical supply donations and technical cooperation, continuing the China-Serbia friendship through practical action.

“Peace is not an abstract idea—it means ensuring every medical supply reaches those in need,” a team member wrote on a message card. On the same day, they also visited the Belgrade Chinese Cultural Center (rebuilt on the embassy site), stating that they would integrate the ideals of “peace and mutual aid” into their overseas operations, using medical products as a bond of goodwill.
