Haorunmed 2-Part Syringes are disposable medical injection devices characterized by a simple design and widespread use in clinical and laboratory settings. Their core feature is a construction consisting of only two main components—the barrel and the plunger—which fit directly together without a separate rubber seal (i.e., lacking the third component found in three-part syringes, such as a rubber piston tip). This results in a more compact structure and more efficient assembly, while also facilitating large-scale sterilization and quality control.
Barrel: Typically made of transparent polypropylene (PP) with clear graduations; resistant to chemical corrosion and high-pressure autoclaving. Available with or without a needle hub (e.g., Luer Slip or Luer Lock) and in either centric or eccentric nozzle configurations.
Plunger: A one-piece rigid plastic rod without an additional rubber tip; leak-proof sealing is achieved through an interference fit between the plunger and the precision-engineered inner wall of the barrel. Some models feature optimized surface treatments or material elasticity to further ensure airtight integrity.
Sterilization and Safety: Generally sterilized using ethylene oxide (EO) gas; meets requirements for sterility and freedom from toxicity, pyrogens, and allergens; also phthalate-free.
